i will agree that it is too big.
in my opinion, a long cruise should be no more then 60k. at the most. anything over and i start thinking " was it really a good idea to fly this way? how much longer will i be able to play freelancer? do i have time to go make myself dinner? "
but yeah, reducing the size by 33-50% would be great.

Aye, if there wasn't so many different good spots for trading / smuggling on the eastern side of the map, the whole system would be useless... It is a HUGE system, and a little "shrinking" could not hurt it.
Have you thought about doing a poll about this?
