AIs have perfect aim, that's why they can hit a camera ship. If you're travelling in a straight line or very slowly, they will hit you.

Until told to stop by an admin I will continue to Roleplay with my camera ship and if told to stop I will consider something seriously wrong with this server.
Flying around as a deaf-mute does not appeal to me. I've had some great RP with people, even as I flew around their guard system. I've also had some great RP with fpsdoug, he blew up my gunboat, and then I came at him in my camera ship, followed him around, and then posted the whole encounter under the title of "A day in the life of a Corsair". He loved it. This gets chalked up there with "no player may be in more then 2 system owning factions".

I have actually had in-game RP communications with the player who started this topic.
He was doing a fantastic job of roleplaying an unmanned survey drone, and it would be a real shame if anything got in the way of that.
I'd reccomend;
- Keeping up the RP you're doing.
- Decide from whom your probe originates. Eg. Liberty? Nomads? Kappa Robots?
- Keep to regions that your chosen faction *should* know about. For example, stay out of guard systems, and any regions that are considered "secret", the location of which your group should not be privy to.
Eg. A Bretonian probe shouldn't fly around Omicron Gamma, because Bretonia shouldn't know where the Corsair home is. If they did, it would have severe repercussions for the server.
- Maintain an entirely passive stance.
I'd wager if you did everything perfectly, never caused trouble, and never abused the ship, everyone'd probably turn a blind eye.
In otherwords, I suggest that your unmanned survey drone should fly "under the radar" in every sense of the phrase.
I don't approve of any ship being exempt from RP. I think Camera ships can be included, just as I am always determined to include Admins in RP whenever I see them nearby.

Im glad you liked the RP Carlos.
I wasnt thinking of where my drone was from in particualr although leeds just happened to be where i had gotten to with it,
I managed to capture a very good fight behind Leeds between [OPG] tagged corsair ships and two Outcast Fuentes brothers. took a long time to come to a close and im glad i was able to capture it
PS: thanks whoever changed its name from -=[(o)]=- to Nameless. i didnt have any credits to do it myself

I love the camera ship and would vote for approval for anyone using it as a spy drone/news service camera and the like if it were done respectfully.
