They're based on starlancer ships, but beyond that... the coalition is a war machine, it doesnt need fancy pretty looking ships, it needs ships which can take a beating and dish out the same.

Beside, freelancer's ship designs, even the vanilla designs, seem based on a period of time ranging from world war 2 through the cold war, the ships fit in better with a soviet style influence than they would as high-tech craft.

I, too, am a fan of archaic weapons, mildly absurd looking tanks, suicide bombers, and crazy idealistic dictators. But, as you said, holocaust aside, the emperor was crazy to attack Pearl Harbor.

Anywho, I like the planes and ships. Something about those cannons is incredibly sexy.

A tip for the future, turn off mouse pointer when making cinematic videos. I believe there's an option for it in Fraps and most other recording programs.

I did, xfire is stubborn and still captures the mouse though. I dont use fraps due to 30 second recording limitations.

Seriously. We have a lot of scumbag characters on this server, from torture murderers and stalinists to semi-Nazi Rheinlanders and Gallia. I don't think anybody likes these guys, and nobody here believes the whole world should belong to some French king, yet we RP as people who do, because it's fun.
