From reading your story, i had thought it would be more sleek (possibly shiny) and streamlined (which those wings are not).
Also, i think it shouldnt have windows, as it gives it a human feel which i think you might be trying to avoid.
Just my first thoughts.

It's a cockpit strapped to a few engines.
Honestly, I think it's incredibly ugly.
As well as that, the ship does not look Alien whatsoever. It could just as easily be a Sirius ship than an alien one.
Try for instance, multiples of 3. Human ships tend to use multiples of 2. A hint from designed Nommie things from Treewyrm.

for the Sides of the wings add some sort of extension to the front and back, and make the front part more connected with the back part
my ideas. well here is a rough picture to show what i mean.

meant to be sized inbetween a gunboat and light cruiser. VHF's dont have windows along their sides =P

No, Aki was taken by a C'tan ship.
