It only makes sense, otherwise all those arguments people were grumbling about "TRRORZT! KEEL U!" and "Wer n00tr4l, k?" are completely moot. I pretty much stick to running deuterium and pineal amulets to FP's with an occasional iridium run. I usually avoid house space as much as possible unless we need something we can't get elsewhere. That's 'relatively in-RP', since while it does use a Zoner base or bases, for the most part the Zoners are supposed to avoid House space. But that's the way the routes are set up. And not all routes are created equal. Zoners have some very good (legal) routes available, as well as having a far wider variety (of good routes) to choose from than any House corporation (in addition to their lack of natural enemies, which makes them an inherently better choice for traders who don't want to be bothered). Some House corporations have almost nothing (among the House corporations, I'm mostly familiar with Bretonian and Cryer routes... And oddly enough, the best Cryer routes are as much Zoner routes as they are Cryer... And aren't completely legal). I don't really know how the IMG or GMG are doing for decent trade routes, since I've never had much dealings with those factions, nor do I know much about Rheinland or Kusari corporate trade routes. For some reason, all Bretonia can seem to do is export Refugees, despite the fact that it's the industrial House. I don't know of any good Bretonian trade routes which don't involve taking Refugees to Liberty or Rheinland, and I've spent some time looking. |
