Mandalorian Series Development Thread - farmerman - 08-18-2009 That seems like a pretty neat ship. It's like you took all the qualities from the Sabre, Kingfisher, and Lane Hacker ships that I like and put them together. Mandalorian Series Development Thread - Eppy - 08-18-2009 ' Wrote:Dunno, but if Mandalorians are really based by Star wars mandalorians, should they really have something to do with Border World? I would suggest own ship line. Just mine opinion though. It IS their own ship line. It's based off of the Borderworlds because they're Freelancers and have a relationship with the Outcasts. :rtfm: Mandalorian Series Development Thread - Dieter Schprokets - 08-18-2009 ' Wrote:It IS their own ship line. Mandalorian Series Development Thread - Elsdragon - 08-18-2009 Make it look like the lovechiled of a sabre and the slave one.:P Not a bad ship, by any means, Just what guns do the MM <strike>make?</strike> USE Mandalorian Series Development Thread - Dieter Schprokets - 08-18-2009 ' Wrote:Make it look like the lovechiled of a sabre and the slave one.:P I think we need our own.. MUHAHAHA!!! Mandalorian Series Development Thread - Elsdragon - 08-18-2009 MM"Jango" Neutron guns Mandalorian Series Development Thread - frozen - 08-18-2009 1. It's way too flat 2. The cockpit is dreadful. Come to me on skype tomorrow when I'm not tipsy, and I'll tell you how to do the cockpit, fl sabre style. 3. The ship is rather blocky, I suggest more roundyness to it. I definitely dont like it in its current form, and while the textures are correctly mapped with no visible distortions (for now, anyway), I think you should probably try and use some other textures and recolor them in utf editor, to get more detail. It seems rather bland in terms of texture job. EDIT: god bless spellchecker. where would I be without it. Mandalorian Series Development Thread - Zeltak - 08-18-2009 Well, the design looks good and all but I believe its too flat. That will be a very overpowered fighting-vessel due to its shape. I personally think it requires some size increase overall. Looks like a Scimitar and that is a Light-Fighter... Mandalorian Series Development Thread - tansytansey - 08-18-2009 Post a size comparison side by side with the Sabre. That should remove of confirm concerns of the ships size being too small. Also, the texture on the bottom intake look a little too small on that front view. Maybe it's just the perspective, but it looks a little much. Those fins that connect the wings with the bottom intake part look way too thin, like they'd snap if you rammed the ship. Can we thicken them to about the thickness of the Sabre's equivilant of those parts? EDIT: I realised something, you're using the wrong texture on the 'in' side of the intakes. The one you've got there is the 'out' side. You should use this texture: ![]() It's called engine_128 I think. Mandalorian Series Development Thread - reavengitair - 08-18-2009 Ooh nice.... Ill definitely have fun with this thing...! |
