I to have thought an expanded version of consumer goods would be a great idea. The one I would like to see if there is a possiblility is.....Coffee, grown on Planet Curacao. The pricing and etc. would be up for discussion.

You have a valid point in your last statement, however, may I ask this question . . .
What if that same feeling was the standard when the question of flying battleships, adding systems, or adding additional ships were in the same situation as this one?
This does not mean we add 1000 new commodities to the game instead of having consumer goods, (as you said) this could just mean that each house and or faction could have a specialized commodity that could be traded. . Some contraband (maybe in some systems) some legal . . I'm not a computer wizz, but is this much more work than adding a system?
I really could see much more role play introduced to the game with players who trade, which, could be a good thing . . :)

Ok, I think you get my point. I wouldn't like to see us bringing in too many specific commodities. I do like the fact that Halo-tainment bands are unique though, because their meant to be rare and expensive. The cola seems to be everywhere...I don't think we should make it specific in that case, it would just be considered a consumer good IMO.
