What is happening to us? - Ceoran - 09-22-2009

What I remember from my yesterdays business session is:
  • "Cant' you earn money legally? Do you have to ruin other peoples fun?" (Twice, and yes, I have to, it's my RP.)
  • "You made yourself a new enemy today, once I'm powerful enough I will hunt you down, you won't have fun anymore on this server..." (Also twice)
  • A passing trader shooting at one of the guys in my group without a single word. We were busy at that time, so we didn't even stop him, nor asked to. But we took him down for blockade running earlier (yes, we asked him to drop his stuff first)
  • Another blockade runner docking with the Samura HQ while being ordered by a Hogosha to drop his cargo. Yes, of course, Samura really loves blockade-running gaijins ...
Bad day, really bad day. I consider to fill a report about the first two guys, but I would feel like just giving to much work to the Admins.

' Wrote:Decided to spend an hour with pirating some shipments after a long time of inactivity. And what I found was rather disturbing. Had to frag 2 of 3 shipments, one of which preferred to hit F1 and another to come back with a gunboat to avenge his loss in less than 15 minutes. Seriously, what is happening to us? Is it just my bad luck or are we facing a serious decay in the portraits of the new people here?

Yeah, this is some sort of rant as you see but not that I'm angry with this, its bloody disturbing to spend almost my entire time to write down 2 violation reports in a row, instead of being able to play the game itself.

I quit typing up violation reports long ago when I realized nothing was being done about them. I got a bit tired of wasting my time.

EDIT: I guess what really annoyed me was all the "personal viewpoints" from those who read my reports and discarded them.

The League tried to pirate a Firefly for a joke... It said half a sentence, consisting of "What do you want?" *awkward silence*. A Bretonian Train then passes by, we turn our interest to him. He talks. We are happy. The Firefly quickly disappears behind Leeds, then reappears, engine kills, then (without a word) starts firing wildly on my compatriot.

... For a joke.

Wtf?

P.S. If you're wondering what exactly I'm talking about, feel free to PM me...
P.P.S. I sadly hit the windows key during the fight and got vaporized. Quite unfortunate.

-Edit- So it is, indeed, that bad.
Edit P.S. 1400 posts. Yay!

:DMagoo that was me in the Bret Train. That guy was a total idiot. Did you like my joke?

A lot of people aren't getting punished enough for OORP behavior, because they either don't understand or don't care. I want to fix behavior of those who wish to change, but the ability to sort good from bad, and then get rid of the bad is the only way this can get solved.

What is happening to us? - ... kur nubÄ—go? - 09-22-2009

And whats wrong if trader is coming to smack you down in his bh gunboat?.. its totaly in rp and according the rules actually. Besides more challanging, more intresting.

ANd about F1...? Simply kill the transport, take all the loot and sell it to teh nearest base. OR ask a buddie to come with transport:)

Meh, I get those kinds of GBs, and we see them coming, so we bring out something 4x bigger.

And it isn't if you killed them.

I found some reasons why people dont like to get taxed and dont want to RP with you Pirates:

Pirates are lazy bums. As a matter of fact you're just sitting next to a highly frequented tradelane/jumphole/jumpgate and shoot at it, waiting for some fool to drop in. Ever tried to accomplish something on your own?

Taxes do not go along with Cargo/Level of the Player.
Youre taxing the Level90 player with hundreds of millions on his account the same way youre treating the Newbie who just got his first million ... sure the new one would gladly die instead of giving up his hard earned credits. Plus taxing EMPTY traders with 2 Million is just close to insanity. Even IF your Life was on the line who would not try to run instead of loosing so much money to some weird psycho?

There are too much pirates waiting on the lanes nowadays, because its so easy to be a pirate, as i described above.
You can get taxed 5 times in a row without anyone or any chance to protect you. Thats just unfair and makes people run without interacting to pirates.

All of you who want RP should play Police and not a Pirate. Because pirating is just a sorry excuse for not being able to accomplish things the hard way.

Lazy bums. Ha.
True fact about pirating low level pirates. Thats why i take third of everyone's hold. That's equal.
As for piracy being lazy, that's untrue. Those that live from piracy surely do work hard to get the cash.
Those that do it for cash only... They have their own traders anyway and piracy can't support them. 2 millions is nothing.
