On related note, I was browsing trough the official faction forum a few days ago to find out that I haven't seen 3/4 of the factions for a few months.
Maybe start with full cleaning?

Yeah I think all that would serve is forcing even more players in to the bottlenecks. I'm in LWB and VF, which are both as a whole currently pretty inactive, because Rheinland is dead for trade. Wipe both those factions, and then no one in them has a single reason to go to Rheinland at all, which just makes it even more dead.
