I definitely support Pirate bombers. Its the only item the poor pirates (that means the pirates besides Outcasts and Corsairs) have to use against the military's capital fleets. Since they can't afford their own capital ships, they have to make a way to have inexpensive ships that can take down those capship fleets by simply having more of those small ships than the other side has big ships.

I voted for the change. It really looks like the BHG destroyer.
The new model proposed looks more rogue-style than the current one.
And for the bombers, instead of a pirate bomber, the Death Scythe should have a mk II version, with more power to be capable to fire nova torpedos. This ship have currently two slots, one that is only for CDs and one that is only for torpedos, but novas cant be fired with it, as theres no sufficient energy in this ship.
I already proposed a new bomber using the raven talon design. Remove its turret and two weapons and puts one extra torpedo slot. Also the Kiith SHF can be turned into a bomber.
Edit: the Kiith SHF can be turned into a super bomber with four torpedo slots, two mines, two guns, two fighter turrets, and no CDs. We can also have a ship specialized in mines, with four mines but no torpedos.

Personally, I got used to seeing the rogue gunboats being flown by NPCs.
Indeed, the BH ship and the rogue one look very similar.

That little adage chestnut doesn't quite apply here ... I would like to see some odd roleplay fixes first, before
loads more hardware is thrown at the game for faction gratification.
Its still a vanilla mod, not a total conversion.

Well, Imo, what could be done to the gunboat is give it a typically rogue skin. That from their freighters and fighters.
