A new Idea - Zukeenee - 11-09-2009 I think it could be a good idea. I don't actually ever type out "Captain So-and-so: Blah blah blah", but because I never establish my ships' pilots in-game, I often get people calling me by my ship's name, rather than my character's name. With this, people would know who's in the cockpit. For example, people always call my trader ([IND]Casual.Friday) "Friday" or "Casual." The pilot's name is Andy Harris, and he wouldn't mind being called as such every once in a while. If his name were in front of each chat message, people would know. And with this command, I wouldn't have to spend even more time typing it all out. Of course, there was another FLhook command that was suggested a while ago that could also help for these kinds of situations. Someone suggested that we make "infocards" for each of our characters, so that when someone targets you and types something like "/charinfo" they get a small description of the character, or whatever you want to put there. I think Cannon said he would work on that, but I haven't heard anything about it since. Both of these commands can serve a great purpose, if they can be implemented.
