Had this idiotic idea a few days ago.
What if we agreed to fly ads on the server (for a fee or a good server host)? Working same as periodic console messages like "Welcome to Discovery" etc.

While ads can bring revenue, I think we need to click them and read/watch/hear them to make the revenue count. Maybe a specific thread in the forum called "Click to Help Discovery" thread where clicking the links would donate some money to the server.
I've seen this done on Gangsterz.com game, the system works, and a lot of people do it. However, I'm unsure as the the staff's decision on this. But if say 50 people click on an ad that gives 50 cents per click, thats 25 dollars for the server a day. Thats not too bad really.
I'll make a poll on this.
