Sir, have you paid for one? Can you honestly say you didn't spend a ridiculous amount of time trading the SAME ROUTE BACK AND FORTH AND BACK AND-Yes, like that, without ANY FLHOOK intervention? I'm keeping myself up till three in the morning just to pay for the battleship. How long did it take to pay for the Iluvitar?

900mils? Can be done in one day, a long one, indeed. With a proper route, large train, loads of coffee, beer and COOKIES, while being too bored to do something less boring, it can be done within 17-18 hours. I thought you know something about being bored, Epy...:-)

I had on my baships MK VI armor upg. And I defeated players with MK VIII armor upg. Really, it doesn't worth it's money. Tactics are more important than armor upg. I am living proof of that. I had the cash to buy one, but when I saw that is soo weak, I buyed another bs, kitted it out, and the rest I gave to the noobs.

Come on guys, play the game, this is just looking for advantages again. Korrd explained the VIII's position as
a faction piece. This is going off of roleplay once more, just the 'win at all costs capship whoring' situation
popping its ugly head over the parapet again.
If you are prepared to trade for it, you deserve it. If its for a personal BS, then your uses are limited anyway
within reasonable roleplay scenarios. Keep it within your factions as the advantage ...

One effect any uber equipment with horrific pricing does that you all have failed to note is:

More non-descript traders with no role play running all out and complaining on the forums constantly whenever they get pirated because all they do is trade all day so they can get that extra 500k of hull on their battleship...
