Hey, to prevent these from being spammed, why don't we mount them in Torpedo slots, as a Razor alternative?

Answer is simple.
Ammunition. Well at least my original idea was to create a weapon with lots n lots of ammo, high refire rate, unguided, with a reasonable speed and damage.
If you fit it alternately to a razor, you will run out in 70 shots, which is with the refire rate I would like, just a few seconds of shooting.

Would be good for jousting, missile tracking can be a bitch sometimes. But then it does seem a bit backtracking technologywise.

Its not about a high-tech stuff.
Missiles without guiding system can be as lethal and fairly cheaper to produce. And really, if your little fighter spams hundred on a battleship, it can deal fair amount of damage and it looks cool!:)
