Last question how should the ship be oriented when I export it in CMP.
I was told back to front by some people, upside down by others. But on what planes are we talking about here?
Should it be back to front looking from the left or back to front looking from the right? And does it need to be upside down?
As far as im concerned i usually use back to front, but:
-The orientation is good if you open the hard cmp and see your ship in front view.
-Sometimes, when you have to rotate the ship to get the proper view in hard cmp the ship is leaving the centerline of z. To correct this, assign the entirely model (ctrl+a) click "move" and set "absolute" in the move tab, make sure the coordinates at 0, then click "move".
Save this setting then export your ship into cmp.

Gunboat is not warship, silly, it's about time that all the Freelancers and merc stop proposing Factions for every ship which is worth of flying, it's 'bout time they can use one ship freely, which isn't so bad actually, and you don't need someone's permission for it.

Even in our world heavily armed 'para-military' equipment is easily available to those with means.

I am good with it as a Civi GB. Junkers can use Civi gear. I just thought it looked like a junker ship. :cool:
I do think how ever that the admins will agree with most that a Civilian does not need a GB. We junker's on the other hand do,and would be willing to sell to all civi's, just like all our other ship's.(salvager excluded)

I still think gunboats should not be civilian.Gunboats are heavly armed with war guns.Civilians shouldn't be allowed to fly combat ships.Just something basic for protection like a max VHF.Anyway this is just my concept.
