4 pulse + 2 missile and rest solaris
works like a charm... just nail the GB's shield and try to ram-fire the gun... it will instakill it unless it has a decent armour

I thought siege has 7 guns.
So 4 pulse 2 missiles 1 solaris?

No point at all in putting two missile turrets on a siege cruiser. It has a small powerplant.

hmm, i thought it had 8... meh, was 1 missile then... was along time ago... during the time when i was podering over which to buy... Storta or Siege cruiser....ended up with storta as it was more raids between OC and sairs at that time...
but the siege cruiser is far from ineffective... but as said so many times before. It takes skill and patience to line it up.... of teres asteroids or lots npc's spawning around you your generally dead.... eont get the "accuracy " so easyli

The main gun can hit stuff and do a decent amount of damage....but I would like it to either have a higher impact damage, or use less energy....to give that big cumbersome thing a bigger edge.

The Cruiser Forward Cannon is either same power of a SNAC but at faster speed and faster RoF like the BD one or it's even more powerful then the SNAC at still a faster speed and RoF, but very draining on energy. I can hit a sabre with the projectile speed of a SNAC, these move faster. (yeah if a small ship actually comes close to me they can even be in danger of being hit by my 600m/s Mortar too) I don't find anything inherently wrong with either Cruiser Cannons and they play their role well.

It is meant to be used against bigger, less mobile targets.
No it is not useless and it takes a bit of getting used to. (I also fly the Kagutsuchi, that one's forward gun is much worse.)
