I think it looks good. Defintly not zoner ship.
It will give civ's,freelancers, and mercs a ship at the least.
Make a second version slightly larger for a corvette version.(only an idea).

It's an interesting but still generic design, cause I think it doesn't have too many connections with any faction ships ... maybe just a bit ... but still, it looks really nice.
I think it would look great in game and could be a replacement for mercenary/junker/ect. factions who are using other factions GBs , cause they don't have their own ...

I agree that it looks like some sort of liberty gb hybrid.
Its very well done as well.
About who produces it why not "making" a new manufacturer. Look at Renzu ships, they are just Renzu, but they don't belong to any faction; and I guess they can be called generic

Just one request: replace the bubble canopy. Maybe make two people visible, maybe segment the canopy, maybe make it a glass stripe instead of a bubble - I dunno, I just for some reason don't dig the bubble. I DO love the living space you have down there, though. It'd be absolutely perfect for long-range escort duties, exploration and the like.
As for origin, I dunno. Obviously it's not CTE. *shrug* Some details need to be figured out, but it's got a great deal of potential. I'm thinking...mebbe...five turrets and no forward gun, but good firing arcs (all five could fire forward) or six with one rear-firing only. Just my opinion...and to be fair, I dunno how big it is compared to other gunboats, so my estimate might be off. Regardless, it's a niche that needs fillin', and this isn't a bad ship to fill it.
