@ Evil_Joker: Um - the only way I could pirate Tau 31 the way you say the Corsairs Benitez do is to violate RP. I have no access to Taiidan Bombers or Coladas, so your argument here is mute. Seems the only solution you have totally disregards any kind of RP. And I kinda prefer the Soylent Green theory (ie: for those too young to understand ... it means food).
@ globalplayer-svk: That's because you are Corsair and have Taiidan bombers with Coladas and Novas. Try doing it as a Rogue or a Molly. You need actual skill and teamwork to get it done. a simple shot of 4 Coladas and 2 Novas up the tail pipe turns just about anything into swiss cheese in a couple shots. It doesn't take much skill to do that.

I'll sure be glad when Tau 31 is nerfed. Today alone I found at least 6 traders doing this run. That's 6 traders that used to run New Tokyo to New Berlin or Cambridge to Theta. Most all the common trade routes have died down because of this cash farming run.

Slightly off the Topic, but I suggest shield Busters be created for atleast two ther factions.
May be Zoners so every one can buy them and may be Rogues so OC/Mollies/Rogues ahve access to a good shield buster.
I suggest the following two guns
1: (Rogue Gun)

This will allow for Better RP as you will not see every ship carrying a Coloda or a Tizzie.
Also a sniper shield Gun would be nice. Lvl10//1 shot per second // 800 power // 0 Hull // 4200 shield. 1000 m/s speed. 1000 m range.
Makes fighters and Bombers more effective against GB's.

anyone who claims to trade this route and be in role play is kidding them selves big time.
its an exploit and a bug, and nothing more.
evil_joker your idea of roleplay is to sit on the planet and taunt us about how we cant kill a transport in this exploit.
i NEVER use this route anymore. it takes all the fun out of trading and pirating.
in my opinion, ANY TRADER WHO USES THIS ROUTE IS TOTALLY OUT OF RP.
nuff said.
I dont trade much, and when i do, i look forward to being pirated. it makes it all more worthwhile.

Well, the pirates could easily orbit Harris with a squad of 2 or 3 bombers and say 'Any trader that doesn't pay up NOW, will be destroyed upon leaving the dock.'
That will either force them to stop trading there, or force them to pay after getting seeing a lot of ships get blown up quickly.
EDIT: Hell, A GB could easily block the mooring fixture on Harris, too.

I've tried that tactic so many times. I took a Rogue GB, and sat it right in front of the mooring post in Tau-31. Tanktarget sat in a bomber, and demanded money for passage. If they didn't pay, 5 second boom.
However, a trader can sneak past and hit the mooring post if they're brave, skilled enough.
It is incredibly fun to impose a blockade upon Tau-31. You and I must try this sometime, so I may show you the delights.

I lost 200 mill in a credit card transfer and used T-31 to quickly work it back, I have not been back there since. I considered it out of RP at the time, but it was a handy way of fixing a costly accident.
