heh...bounty hunters are very much enemies of junkers...i don't make things up as i go..
Don't think i am against large junker base..i am not...i am just saying it isn't good to call it freeport if it wont be free for all to dock...current freeports are open for all (except freeport 4, but i am also skeptic about IMG holding it)...they are Free Ports..free for ALL...not "maybe free" ports...
and if they are place for trade and most traders wont be able to dock there...whats the point?

So long as you don't piss the Junkers off.
Just like the other Freeports and the Zoners. Don't piss the Zoners off and you're dandy.
Plus, it would be meant for less-than-legal-traders, if you catch my drift. Free for them... free from the worries of things like 'law' and things like 'order'!

Also can I re-introduce the topic of a name. I am already leaning away from calling it a freeport. Already we have Tortuga and Kingston as suggestions. Are there any others?

Leeds already acts as a "shortcut" between Cambridge and Magellan. Other than that, it seems like a pretty good location to me.
Or heck, just put the thing in Cortez. There's practically nothing there anyway, and it would fit the "Tortuga" theme very well.

The White planetoid in Hudson could use a base around it.
But for another FP... I suggest Connecting Omega 5 and Dublin somehow with another system (please match the scenery with adjacent systems) and create a FP heaven there. Let the Junkers trade away the gold from Mollies and scrap from Corsairs.
