If you read the history as written by the Igiss, you'll find that the IMG found themselves faced with 'overwhelming superiority in numbers'. So they did what any corporation would do - we'll mind our own business, while looking for opportunities to profit. For purposes of this battle in the war, the Outcasts are annoying nuisance - sort of like the way the Gaians were treated. (Don't blame me, I didn't write the war!)

Sounds like fun! Is there some predetermined naming convention (other than the obvious Kusari/Gallic names) to quickly and easily determine which side could use a few more grunts?

A name scheme? It would perhaps help RP and such, all KNF must go KNF|Name.Name and GRN go GRN|Name.Name, not related at all to the official faction, just for uniformity and so you can use the group invite function /fi KNF| etc.
Also, having experienced many many big battles, coordination is key to all efforts, you can't have 50 people all shooting a single target, so seperating groups of people into wings is the way to go, going to need a lot of wing leaders for this, I assume.

Since I've never flown the KNF Dessie before, I just want to make one little comment about that ship - that was an odd turret layout. It took me 20 minutes of undock - oh, that's where those weapons are now - redock, move them around - undock - darn it, NOW where did those go - redock...
