Herr Heidrich,

This treaty addresses territorial issues between Daumann and the IMG. Kruger and the IMG have had minimal hostile encounters in recent years, and this treaty was a response to hostilities, something that was only occurring between daumann and us.

And, as of right now, this treaty is on it's last leg.

So then, If you wish to have Kruger as a participant of this treaty, I'd suggest the following amendments.

Quote:This agreement between the Independent Miners Guild, Daumann heavy construction, and the Colonial Republic, shall be used to maintain peaceful relations between all three groups, while ensuring the safety of the common worker.

Article Zero
Clauses applying to all parties.
1: All parties involved; CR, IMG & associated factions, and DHC, promise to abide by Rheinland law within the systems which are officially claimed by Rheinland. [color=#CC0000]Kruger Accepts this.

Article one.
Clauses applying only to the IMG, and DHC.

1:Neither party shall approach within ten klicks (10 k) of another parties base with the exception of; escorting trade vessels, and assisting vessel's threatened by piracy. Patrols will be limited to mining fields and bases which the party has ownership of.

2:Neather party shall hire, or in anyway employ mercenaries to unlawfully attack Daumann or IMG vessels.

3: Both parties will maintain a reasonably sized defensive force.
Article Two.

1:The Colonial Republic, shall lawfully uphold the outlined terms of this agreement.
2: The IMG, and DHC, will acknowledge all instructions given by the CR, provided they are relevant to the situation.
3: In disputes between ether group, the CR has the final decision, provided that the lawful government of rheinland remains un-involved.

Kruger demands negotiations with the Colonial Republic before we can agree to this clause of the treaty.
Article Three.
Restricted areas.
1:The trade lane system shall be used as a mid point in omega seven. Daumann vessels are restricted from mining north of the lanes, and IMG vessels are restricted from mining south of the trade lanes. The IMG shall mine Cobalt, while Kruger shall mine Silver and Copper in it's field in the north of the system. There shall be no interference in each other's business.
2: Any ship found mining in a restricted area is subject to lawful sanctions for the crime of theft, andshall be punished accordingly.

Herr Heidrich, Given the current state of this treaty, and it's intent, I'm unable to accept any amendments. However, I am more then willing to create a separate treaty that is more satisfactory to both of our parties.

CR need to revaluate their whole stance on this treaty and their involvement in it. As it seems after a talk with an 88th Jarhead, the CR are there to uphold the treaty but not to protect all those whose names are under it and at the same time demand that DHC can have no protection from private hired security i.e. ADLER.

If you CR are there as the "Final Voice" over events in omega 7 then, You must provide full paramilitary protection for all those lawfuls working in Omega 7 as you do not protect the DHC against pirates and other threats. You have no right to demand our hired mercs to leave Omega 7.

I would suggest that this treaty be vetoed as it obviously fails on many levels both politically and logically.
A new Treaty should be drawn but this Time we the DHC should mediate over a draft version that will facilitate the interests of all parties, furthermore CR should be removed from diplomatic negotiations as they obviously uphold this treaty with a BIAS towards the IMG whereby refusing us the right to Hired Protection.

I for one do not like taking orders or even talking to these foreign CR as they obviously have no idea what they are on about and really to put a foreign body we know nothing about in charge mediating this treaty is further stupidity.

So I hereby VETO this TREATY and will no longer adhere to its terms and conditions, if this means disciplinary action from my superiors then fine but no longer will I hold my Trigger back against CR Jarheads who are not doing what they are suppost to and at the same time barking orders at us not to protect ourselves.

Captain Rocksplitter of DHC-Ravensburg out!

The Treaty of Omega 7 - Linkus - 06-02-2010

Comm ID: Heisten Nurzwelger - Independent Rheinland Miner

What sort of idiot put you in charge of one of Rheinland's mining ships?

You are a disgrace to our nation 'Captain' Rocksplitter.
Ja, that is right, a disgrace.

You think that Rheinland became the glorious nation it is today without diplomacy? Without staying the sword in favour of the pen?

This treaty does not fail at all, it is only people like you that intend to remove it. How you are not in a home for the mentally unfit, I do not know but I do know that if you do go against this treaty, Rheinland will not be behind you.

The Colonial Remnant are foreigners ja, but does that mean that they are inferior? Nein, not in my eyes.
They object to the thieves and scum that are known as Adler mercenaries as they break the treaty.

If Adler did not breach the treaty, they would be able to guard Rheinlanders like myself.
But instead they are clearly fools, charging around with no regard for diplomacy.

Why I am even addressing you I do not know, you are simply another drone after all.

If you want Daumann, and Rheinland, to succeed in Omega-7 you will obey the treaty and maybe sponsor a group of brigands that can listen to orders and not act like bloodthirsty loons.

By denying the treaty so foolishly, you only show yourself to be a fool.
I would think this is a good lesson in why you do not let the little kiddies talk with the adults, they just end up looking silly.

Miner , you think we are biased to the IMG. I say YOU are wrong.
The 88th have a new deployment order, issued by High Command , immediately after the treaty was signed.

And that is : Uphold the treaty by the letter and last instructions.
The defence of the Omega 7 sector should fall in both parties defence wings or their affiliated mercs , under the letters of the Treaty. Every merc organization hired by either party must be submitted so the Colonial Officers know who is working for who.

We will not side with any of the Omega 7 organizations , either IMG , Daumann or Kruger for that kind of things , we are there only to maintain this treaty.

And we also advice you to contract a mercenary group that actually knows how to read a treaty.

And mein herr , easy with the threats , we Colonials don't take it kindly when someone threaten to open fire on us. I warn you to check your words.
Is not the first time my pilots were threaten down there. I advice you , we have our limit. Don't make us cross it.

The Treaty of Omega 7 - Cris - 06-02-2010

***Incoming Transmission***
From: Patrol Wing Commander

Yet the Colonial remnant is bound by their alliance to the IMG to defend them; I don't want to imagine the reaction from the IMG leadership if a Colonial pilot refused to assist them or their miners in O7; that unless the IMG has no problem with the CR remaining absolutely neutral.

The day the treaty was signed a DHC patrol pilot assisted a 88th Colonial pilot to engage a Hessian pilot, now we are confused on why he attacked in the first place.
What my superiors want to know is what the position of the CR will be regarding the defense of the system, as the neutral party they are, to police the system making sure all parties follow the treaty; they shouldn't assist either party, or defend both.

Finally to the captain of the Ravensburg; even though we understand your feelings towards the situation, rest assured we are working on solving everything out; for now we'd like you to contact us the next time your crew reached safe port, we understand that your vessel is one of the busiest ones operating in O11 with the task of finding new diamonds pockets; situations like this one can really be frustrating for a busy captain.

mmm...Ja...allright...Yes mein frau...

Just a little note here, one of the secretaries of the board of directors just told me the the board wished to link you to the laws of Rheinland and remind you that in the treaty you must abide to Rheinland law at all times

The Treaty of Omega 7 - Cris - 06-03-2010

***Incoming Transmission***
From: Patrol Wing Command

Unfortunately we can't agree to not allowing Adler to step aside; the CR will not be there always to protect us, while APS pilots are most of the time at the ready; the Adlers will be used as a last presort if no other force is there to assist, and their license remains as side defense contractors.
We don't understand why you are so much trying to get APS banned from the system, while the OMS, who was the cause to all this remains untouched. You are tagging the APS as unlawful mercenaries, but Herr Pruchnicki, who was seen flying past a DHC miner with a cargo full of uncut diamonds, entered our fields and insulted our pilots being well aware of the treaty, and shot down a survey drone is treated as a victim. If he is being shot at its because he pushed us into it; if he had respected the treaty in the first place, we wouldn't be having this discussion.

I have never mined diamonds or stolen them from Daumann, and even if I did, those are found in Omega 11, which is not covered by this treaty and therefore unimportant. I have not been in the south side of Omega 7 for a week. Your survey drone was shot down because it was in our side of the system and refused to leave.

Your Adlers have been actively attacking IMG and, I hear, Colonial ships. They have done nothing but promote treaty violations and are on the brink of starting a war, which is something I am actively trying to avoid. I have talked with very, VERY angry IMG leaders and managed to buy some time for the treaty, but if things do not change soon the Adlers will provoke an all-out war. This is my warning, and it is not a threat, mein herr.

If the Adler issue remains, the treaty will be dissolved, and war will start once more.

You do the math. This personal vendetta you fools seem to hold against me is doing nothing but push the issue into a full-scale conflict, when I have repented of my past wrongs and tried to move away from turning the system I call home into a meat grinder.
