Slave 1 = Bountyhunter ship in Star Wars and i would say the design model for Microsoft Games / Digital Anvil for their BHG fighters in FL.

never thought of that - but after i saw the picture, it makes some sense indeed. - and ... allthough i don t like starwars ships in FL.. i gotto admit that the slave 1 DOES indeed fit into it.

Made a quick edit of the Slave 1 and implemented it in my open SP.

It will need to be scaled up a bit and a slightly changed weapon configuration, than i did so far.
I placed the two torp launcher downside (two pics in space) on weapon hardpoints.
With distance a better ship, than the Waran or the Arwing and fits more.

Saves me the trouble of having to agonize over whether Zoners need uber big tubs all over the place.

We will get an BHG Bomber by Mohr. So the Slave 1 could be implemented for this ugly and useless Waran Bomber or as an Zoner Heavy Scout, because the fact, Zoners wouldn't use Bombers.

Wow... long rabbit trail there. I was simply asking if Zoners had a Gunboat all their own.
The reason I'd like a gunboat and not a heavy fighter is... I'm thinking like in "Waterworld" where Costner has his home out on the water; felt more at home OUT THERE, and not in some port of call. My ship is like my home, and needs to be large enough to have that kinda feel to it.
The kusari little gunboat is more what I'm thinking of, or, like above, a catamaran design. Either way it would be a turret firing vessel, not a manueverable fighter.
