Really really really strange problem... - pipsqueak - 10-17-2007

Couple of quick oftopic things Commodore 64 had 64k of ram which is roughly equal to 0.064 Megs.
They would have kiiled you for a 8 Meg machine in 1987. Thing two: Yes it sounds like a software driven issue. Try to Update the driver by doing to the manufacturers webside and look for software for that machine. When you boot your system up. In most systems, will prompt you which button to use to enter the BIOS generally within 5 seconds of you turning on the laptop. Either Delete or F2. or some other ungodly key combination. Pay attention at the very start when the screen initially comes up. GL m8

i think that some mobile phones use more memory for graphic ....

but seriously...go to bios and assign more memory to your card...and cross your fingers..maybe that helps too...

If I knew how to do that, I would... could you give me the steps to do it? I searched all over BIOS and couldn't find where to do that...

Download the BIOS updates from your manufacturer's websites. Often the vanilla versions are seriously limited in functionality.

Ok, I'm googling all over to try and find where to download this. I found one for Intel, but that's not what mine is. Mine laptop is an e-Pro something or other.. I'll have to look at specific name...

There are lot's of websites that have the name e-pro but I don't think they are specififly the manufacture's site for m laptop.

ANybody know a website to download a maybe, universal, BIOS update? I'll keep looking anyway.

Thanks!
