I like it, do it, and PM me over Skype when this is going to happen. OORP Events are hella fun, not everything with Disco has to be RP Based.
Also, why not give Zombies a different type of ID then Non-zombies? Could help identify them better. But it would have to be something fairly obvious, like Zombies with an AI ID, and Non-zombies with a Freelancer ID.
Also, Zombie ship has to be the AI Drone, no doubt about it.:D

i like the idea. oh and to make it easier to become a "zombie" make a restart command something like this /restat zombie and puff....we have another zombie whit the zombie ID,ship and weaps.......after this you can rename your char to [zombie]-*name*

Guys i wana do this but if Cannon doesn't respond to me soon.. Then it's just a dead idea. Either Cannon responds, or someone else who has all the tools for this, give 'um to me so i can do it.
