I like the idea of having Cambridge be the institution that forms the common link, even if the various participants have their own affiliations.
And for those who care, we even get a decently snappy acronym: CAXANS

Sounds good to me. Just so everybody knows, I'll be doing the shady research. The crude kind... After Master Theo's BS got exploded he's looking to find some sort of neuro-toxin to kill the Nomads... Of course an Admiral doesn't know much about this field... But he's gotta start somewhere.
Even though Cambridge was Theo's home-planet, due to the... Improper research methods he wont be directly related to them. You'll find out more once the CAXANS thread is up.:P
P.S. Great acronym. I was thinking something like Nomad Research Repository, Open Database or some such... But once I saw CAXANS I was sold. Go ahead, I'll see everybody Monday!

Perhaps the 'group' could get a nomad transportation license and then have it extend to all who are considered associated with the group.
Otherwise this would seem to be a rather illegal operation transportating nomad bits and pieces, should that be part of the purpose, that far accross Sirius.
