Flak turrets, and other light turrets - yurineova - 09-14-2010 4 FIGHTERS should have a rough time killing a capital because their weaponry isnt designed to penetrate their strong armor. 4 BOMBERS should shread most capitals because they are small fast targets with heavy weapons. a squadron of 2 fighters and 2 bombers in theory should be able to knock out a capital, especially if the capital doesnt prioritize and efficiently shoot down its targets. Likewise, if the pilot is experienced, the capital should be able to knock out at least a few fighters if not all of them. The topic, however, has left its original point, in the fact that this is mainly about Flak Turrets, not Fighter/Bomber/Captial balance. As such, make a new topic, but keep this one on track. Flaks also, if you already havent figured this out, can be used as a anti missile/torp barrier thanks to its wide explosion radius. As such, take that into consideration in saying "theyre effective" or "Theyre ineffective". |
