That's why the admin cannons are for... to shoot down rule breaking NPC's

Intentional Ramming - chopper - 12-28-2007

Yeah, i hate when i see those NPC's crashing to a planet, just to avoid repairing. So OORP!

Intentional Ramming - Ichtan - 12-28-2007

Actually...when I get my 7 mil gun shot off...I do that too.

Intentional Ramming - chopper - 12-28-2007

Then you'r a NPC and you deserve to be punished! I guess you'r ramming as well?:P

Intentional Ramming - Ichtan - 12-28-2007

I believe

This needs to be moved to flood.

At least NPC's have an advantage. They don't bore the authorities with the same trade run again and again.
Oh and they answer every time, when hailed. They don't swear and don't pirate friendlies.

Respectful

Wrong!:nono:

NPCs keep doing the same trade runs, since they have no sense of originality, but the same thing can be said about some players.

I've never hailed an NPC, but if at least half respond, then that's probably better than the average player.

NPCs do swear, but very rarely. I started playing Freelancer in 2004. During the thousands of hours that I've played FL, I've gotten one or two to swear at me. I remember one NPC swore at me, because he didn't like the fact that he was about to die!

I know NPC Junkers have tried to pirate me near Rochester Base and NPC Xenos have tried to pirate me near Ouray Base, but I might have been neutral to them instead of friendly.

Oops! I just remembered that some NPC Hogosha tried to pirate one of my Black Dragon (Hogosha player faction) characters near Kabukicho Depot (the Hogosha headquarters base in New Tokyo)!:$

Got another one. NPC's don't report rule violations.

For example NPC farmers attacking NPC's, obviously below level 30.

Of course not. NPCs cheat by ramming, shield-running and reengaging, so NPCs are cheaters. How many cheaters do you know who post rule violation reports? NPCs never post rule violation reports, because they're cheaters.:rtfm:

On the contrary! NPCs are very original when it comes to trade runs. I hailed an NPC roleplaying a Universal Transport and he told he is hauling H-Fuel FROM Texas TO New Berlin. That's an original idea! Also they have a very good sense of roleplay, how many players you see nowadays trading Oxygen or Water?
