I disagree with it being a valid tactic and here is my reasoning. Feel free to obviously disagree but I would like to hear the reason for it being valid.

The rule states you may only go faster than 350 so you can catch up to your group. It is not so you can catch up to someone NOT in your group so you can pirate him or whatever else you plan on doing. So when you slingshot someone they are NOW going faster than 350 and not to catch up to their group.

That is just my thought whether right, wrong, or indifferent.

Two words:

Pursuit curves.

Dang it feels good to be a fighter pilot.

Its even MORE amusing when you see a juggernought pull it off. Scary too, its like being chased by a moon.

First, when we went from "5k to 2k" it was because we approached you from an angle. Once we got right on your six at 2.7k, we used the Slingshot to bring our CD user in close enough to CD you.

I do hope that clears things up.

Yes, you assume correct...you bastages.:P Ok.

I would think its a very valid tactic to be honest. It's not something, one can do, and it would be a typical ploy for a pack hunting group. No more cruising-for-40-minutes-until-they-get-bored-and-leave-tactic.

But a mechanics abuse.....maybe. Perhaps. It depends on if it comes down to skill, or overtly finding a glitch in the game. Can the vanilla version do that?

You engine-kill when you get the missile alert and you keep drifting at full speed even when hit by the CD

And what?
The asterisks were blocking out the word dogs.
Dogs are stupid.

EDIT: No Dod, a CD restarts your engine.

No Bob, not in Vanilla

And yes, I agree. Dogs bark for stupid reasons and are generally loud and annoying.
