RHA Heavy Cruiser - Curios - 02-11-2011
It have a shape of it's opponent of Corsairs. They have almost same stats with current Vidar so, according to screens presented the size is the same and shape is very close too, so if stats will be the same as now as well, it'll be ok.

Looks like a good match for the Corsairs Praefect. The model itself is quite pleasing to look at too.
But yes, its design is a bit Klingon.

Better be super heavy and fast at that size.
Yeah, I like it alot, it's pretty much how I picture the Vidar in my head. And it looks enough like the Odin and Thor to fit the line, perhaps add some of those tubes from the engine block.

Yes, the pipes (?) on the wings ...
Would be nice to see them a bit more roundish.
First I thought about how the Red Hessian logo
would look good on those round reactors (?) on the
wings. But if the texture and color for those logos
aren't perfect, that means a bit "oldish", dirty, used...,
they'd look horrible. They'd also have to be
individual on each side, not a copy of each other.
But well, looks fine as it is. Just reminded me of
Outcasts for a second. It all comes down to the
textures after all. At least for me.
The model as it is seems brilliant. Fitting for the
ship line and, after some thinking and the
comparision to the Praefect and both the
Rheinland and Liberty cruisers, even fitting in
size for a heavy cruiser. (I thought the Rheinland
cruiser was bigger...mhhh...)

I have a few questions:
Is this actually going to go somewhere? It is a beautiful model, but are you actually going to go through the effort to get it into the mod?
It'd be great if this were here. It is very reminiscent of the RHA line, it has the Rheinland feel, and it just reeks of power and awesome.
But are you going to go through with this? I'm getting tired of seeing models be posted, then nothing being done with them or them being revised every twenty seconds.
