The completion and implementation of a manufacturing system.
The introduction of money sinks, such as vanity vessels which maintain slightly superior attributes at the cost of removal upon death.
A scanning system which will enable one to track ships throughout the system, useful for those persons who enjoy lingering off plane or otherwise outside of the chokepoint tradelane system.
Conversely I'd be willing to replace the last with assurance of a more regularly maintained updating system.

1. some more places to mine would be nice, along with a few more sell points, both lawful and unlawful
2. capships not being invincible to missiles and mines when their shields are up. as far as I know, that's being worked on.
3. transports that can actually defend themselfs against lone pirate fighters/bombers
along with some of the other suggestions.

Development of certain vanilla factions and their lore.

- A CD slot for the Starblazer.
- Small buff to the Humpback to bring it in line with the other "Vanilla" freighters. Ragnar was unnecessary.
- Larger buff to the Rhino to bring it in line with other "Vanilla" freighters. Grizzly doesn't count. The civilian freighter can take the Rhino's current place as the noob ship.
