While Im inclined to factionplug the 101st...join Kishiro. They REALLY need the love, and it'll help you make money.
If you're interested in any faction, join a trading faction FIRST. Then go for a pewpew faction.

Yep, pretty much this, though I could even pull the plug on Kishiros local rival. However, seeing that as of late we have way more activity then them, I wont. Kusari however might be the right choice for someone who came from a fantasy realm. I myself came from one too and found it to be my favourite place as well.
