Gran Turismo, no finer driving games
Ratchet & Clank, one of the best platform franchises for the modern era
GTA, so much to do in the name of crime (so glad my sister sold me her 360)
Total War, love the massed battles and the strategy element
MGS, sneaky death machine
Dawn of War, For the Emporer! *squick*
Legend of Zelda, just becasue it's so black and white, no shades of grey here
Super Mario, best platformer from my early years
Elder Scrolls, actual roleplay on a PC, whodda thunk it?

1. Baldurs Gate series (BG II and expansion throne of bhaal are just the best ever)
2. Fallout series
3. UFO:Enemy Unknown/Terror From The Deeps
4. Deus Ex (first one)
5. Blade Runner (Westwood Studios)
6. Crusader: No Remorse
7. Half Life series
8. Sid Meier's Pirates (original and remade, the remade does kick ass though surprisingly)
9. Battlefield 2, 1942 and Vietnam (2142 sucks, in my opinion)
10. Monkey Island 1 & 2

Final Fantasy(Starting from the NES onwards)
Dragon Warrior(NES)
Zelda(Starting from the NES onwards)
MechWarrior(PC games)
Wing Commander(played WC1 on NES - awesome, the rest on PC, WC2 the best of the series IMHO)
Ultima(1-7)
...to name but a few.
Mass Effect has a lot of promise. Can't wait for the sequels.
