all the above is getting in - soo - the persephone will be able to cloak, build bases, jump - none of the other ships though - tough luck
but seriously - everything will be balanced - and no matter how ppl feel - discovery is an immensly well balanced mod for the high load of features it offers. - a game with so many ships, weapons, factions, commodities is BOUND to be unbalanced in some ways - but all in all - the balancers HAVE done a great job in the past and have also done an amazing job for the upcoming release.
( oh - and all the stuff above - cloaking/jumping etc. will of course be balanced, too ... you gain some, you loose some ... and we also have you, the guinea pigs at the open beta to evaluate things )

The player-controlled stuff looks exciting. As do the jump drives. Drop an Admin in a Battlestar and let 'em FTL jump around Sirius a bit.

Is that actually real? Cloaking, pc ship docking, jumpdrives... No, really? I have a feeling that i'm being trolled. Especially since Igiss said we'll never have cloacking devices. Oh man.
