To Lane Hackers - SnakThree - 05-09-2011 There is defference from occasional looking at player list and from hunting with the help of it. Oh. And yes. Opinion and views change. It is done. But it might be good idea to prevent such future incidents, where some guys gets angry enough to quit playing a game, which supposed to be fun. And I certainly would not have declined such intention for use of "Liberty, Rheinland etc" instead of specific systems. To Lane Hackers - Huhuh - 05-09-2011 You should feel privileged to have such a high quality faction logging in just to interact with your faction. I did upheld them as the best example of pirates. @ Someone who told that player list is good to save time when searching for interactions: Tell those who lost their time when being completly robbed. They wasted time too while trying to make profit. To Lane Hackers - Hielor - 05-09-2011 I think you're missing an opportunity here. Pirates avoid hunters and police by being unpredictable. You now have a set of pirates who are very predictable. You can know exactly when and where they'll be. Pass that information along to a bounty hunter, set the trap, spring it. Pirate dies, you've got free use of that system for the next four hours. Just got to meta-meta-game them. And there have been some pretty stupid things mind you. To Lane Hackers - Backo - 05-09-2011 Everybody uses the player list to some degree. It's how things are. To Lane Hackers - sadtranslation - 05-09-2011 What I can't understand is the passive agressive stance of Lane Hackers and the associates on the matter. Snak3 actually came to you with an issue that took place not once or twice and in return he got "Oh, stop whinning, go play the game" and "You should be glad that such great people pay our attention to you". A tad silly, right? Oh, I forgot, it is considered normal behavour in faction feedback on this forum. Yes, everyone uses players' list to find someone to roleplay with. Yes, almost all the characters I play lately are meant to shoot, pirate or trick people and it means that I will definetely use any way to find the others. Gaian won't go to empty Dublin, Hessian - to empty Omegas, and so on. But that's not the point. Listen to feedback, answer, ask for names and timestamps. On a side note, the suggestion to follow Convoy's example leaves aside the whole roleplay background of Convoy's escorts. For Intespace Commerce it's indeed all about hiring scouts and calling in Liberty Navy, since Hackers usually operate around that House where Interspace has its influence. In other words, learn to accept the feedback and react on it accordingly. To Lane Hackers - SnakThree - 05-09-2011 ' Wrote:I think you're missing an opportunity here. They'll meta-meta-meta-game back. Also, not always there's someone to rely on. I would like this thread closed and continue discussion more privately. Troll tried to troll. It's not very effective. Go away Smokey, as you clearly have nothing to add to this discussion. To Lane Hackers - SnakThree - 05-09-2011 No. Smokey raised valid point. There's nothing good about such faction if they use such methods. @ Sad, As I said, people are interested in PvP will rarely provide escort. As Navy should do it for free, part of they RP. As LPI too, but, let's admit that won't help. Also, hackers themselves stated in MD about USI system picking IC| signals in Cortez. And then pictures show them operating near Jump Gates, leaving no chance of slipping past them, if we don't metagame ourselves. |
