Once upon an extremely dark and unpleasant time which I don't like to talk about much I used to play on void. They had a "no bots and batts during pvp" idea and it always struck me as a bit stupid.

I still play on Void server in Black_Legion clan who are actually allies of TRIAD (ironic really), that server is pvp with no bots and bats although some new players do regen and are criticised for it, there is actually no rule against it. The first fight I had here was against 2 mollys 2 v 1 and they were regening, so I thought
sod this and have used regens since that encounter, my original post here was intended to clarify the situation and I would like to thank all the contributers for their comment/opinions, this topic should prove useful for other new players.

Bah, I bought my bats and my bots so I COULD use them, not as a waste of my money and a cute decoration for my cockpit.

Conclusion is, if bots and batts were integrated in the game, then they are supposed to be used.
