all the GMG ships have those wings... and they WERE requested by the GMG faction ( back then ) - when the HF was made... they wanted these wings, cause the old homeworld ship had them, too ... and they felt that it would give the ship a better agility in nebulas ( as a RP reason )

heavy bomber the size of a HF much? - no thanks... if its a heavy bomber - i d also size it up to be a heavy bomber.

there should be different bombers. not mostly heavy ones.
even if it will get a nerf (cause powercore is a bit big for its current stats i think) i would prefer that the GMG bomber will be still smaler and agile - even if the new model looks much much more better.
or resize/redo it to make sure there wont be toooo much change in its stats.

By far.
The new ones are abominations, no offense.
The new Kaichou looks like a Waran crossed with a Kaichou crossed with lots of unnessesary boxxyness.
The old Karasu is absolutely perfect and requires no updating. Ever.
Freighter is alright I guess, sure. Why not.

just a refresh - yes... it is similar to a certain extend:
- it has a massive body
- it has a long extension with a cockpit
- it has stubby wings
- it is white
but i believe that the revision that i made is quite different from then
edit: come to think of it - yes, you are perfectly right - it does look like the warren ... that should get me thinking

Hehe, the stubby little side wings on the revision look like vestigial nubs...
Maybe increase the wing stubs size by 100% and it would look less odd.

I like the Kaichou above... except the wings on starboard and port. It's almost like they should be facing the other way. Maybe it's just me.

Kaichou has less power, less recharge, less hull points, less B/B.
Trades off more agility and smaller size.
You gonna make Kaichou as big as Waran? You kill the GMG shipline.

P.P.S. People need to look closely at the current Kaichou. It really needs a high quality remodel. Thanks jinx!

Ok so IMO the new bomber looks far more better than the old...(for me only the front bottom of the frontal part looks worst.)
But since the beauty is in the eye of the beholder...this all means not so much since it looks like the community loves the old ones, also dunno why.

no worries, GMG - the current revision would "only" be as big as the FA bomber ( mamamoru ) - which is a light bomber btw.

yes - the community ( that speaks up ) appears to favour the old one - can t really explaint it either...
the poll says "new one" - but most of those haven t spoken up....
from the current mood in that thread - i ll be consequencial and probably forget about a revision. - gonne keep focussing on the zoner shipline
no hard feelings though - i appreciate honest opinions a lot more than enthusiastic exclamations of "i d so totally fly it"

(with the starboard and port wings changed a little, cause they look a little silly)
