Feedback: "Transport Hell" Event - Blodo - 05-15-2011

Let it be known that we got solaris caps in the exact moment we saw that we just can't kill fighters who constantly run to resupply, in addition to being supported by RNC capitals of their own. In the mean time people on our side are dying because they don't run to resupply. So in your perspective I guess we should have just let you spend 10x more bots than us and die because of the skill difference or whatever? How is that a fair fight?

Or maybe we should have went and resupplied too in which case the fight wouldn't end ever? I am not sure what you are trying to say here, and it confuses me.

But you should remember: if all gloves are off then don't expect us to not take our gloves off as well, and don't ask us to play fair. Because two can play the running/sneaking/capfighting game.

:D

This is somewhat hilarious, i have no idea what made you think that this is something to be proud of.

You folks can't see the bigger picture of this event, and you're picking on us because we what... ruined your fun by providing challenge ?

L2P

Edit: That was for Vito.

I actually did have fun, but that's because I choose to ignore the negative side. From my perspective:

-I was on trader, made 2 runs. On second run 24324 RM/RFP/DHC are at Freistadt, no allies. I get blown up. Cool, I did my 2 runs, I was actually happy I could get a fighter.

-I jump in a switchblade and join the fun. The first thing that was evident: IMG/CR/RHA/RF/SCRA side only had snubs, vs RM/RFP/EDGE/DHC who had gunboat/cruiser/turtle, who also resupplied the snubs. To top it all, they also hugged Briesen, plus the annoying re-engaging gunboat.

-Finally, when we got tired of this "retardness" (to put it bluntly), we logged Vidars, and we started chewing you all down.

-I still don't see what EDGE was doing there. Even if the the RM side was outnumbered, you were not asked to join. Not only that, but you were actually asked NOT to join. Running to base to re-supply several times, taking supplies from BS, hugging base and all...kinda forced our hand.

Bottom line, it was fun, but not thanks to you. A big kudos to Jack for organising this, you did a great job:)

It's all music to my ears folks, really.
We were not asked to join - yes; we asked to join - yes; we were allowed to join - yes.

And fcs stop with the BS and resupplying. For 30 minutes when you jumped into O7 we were fighting alone, versus a superior force.

If you ask me, you wasted too much time trying to kill the leader's Eagle, me, instead of picking on my new guys. Fight would be over in no time. Grudges>tactics i suppose.

Of course, it's always easier to dismiss criticism as "Q_Q. whining, personal grudge" and so on. You do forget that we actually won, and that we aren't 2 year old, so that doesn't make much sense.

That and that. Well, from our perspective it played out like we holded Hessians&Co for long enough to allow RM do it's job. And that's taking into account that the only reason of our presence was Briesen's facility protection. So basically you guys allowed us to do that, we didn't even plan to do what we managed to. :)
If you would go straight to help the IMG at Freistadt, or attacked our weakest links, things would play out waaaay differently, believe me :)
RM returned to Briesen right in the moment when we were on the brink of defeat.

Just my 2 cents, view from our perspective.

P.S. Strategic thinking for the win. (we failed with it at the end too, when we pulled out of the fight and tried to intercept your resupplying caps in O11, but failed miserably)

For the tenth time, we did not resupply at Briesen or the battleship that was hugging it.
And you won, sure, you had more folks and brought caps at the right time.

I'm honestly flattered that you people brought solarizers just for our rag-tag bunch of noobs ^^

This argument just shows that the traders were being ignored, thus the problem is that nobody really cared whether the traders got through or not.

Feedback: "Transport Hell" Event - VoluptaBox - 05-15-2011

Aeqvinox: funny how ignore our criticism and switch topic.

Us: we didn't like x.
You: stop cry.
Us: not crying, we won.
You: you only won coz better numbers and coz ur better.

How is that answering my original point?

Edit: Hawk: well, not sure what happened after I got blown up, but before that I sure as hell wasn't ignored.
