It lacks "like" button then. John.Smith had killed *** (gun) * Anna.Maria liked this. * I_am_rus liked this. * Snak3 reblogged this from *** and added: "Pvpwhore :3" Communication Channel as blue message showoff? - Pancakes - 06-06-2011 ' Wrote:Boasting about blue messages = CONGRATS! You're a PvP-Prostitute and powergamer who is more concerned with PvP than RP. Not nessecerly, for example I made request from AFA for Mamoru, now I can't be sure if they'd give me it, even tho I have a good solid RP basis to have it, I am almost sure they will ask me to do some work for them, and since I am a mercenery I don't see why supplying them blue messages is wrong. Communication Channel as blue message showoff? - Veygaar - 06-13-2011 ' Wrote:I never said it is bad to boast. Thank ya Snak3:D Here's my thoughts on the matter now, after speaking with several people. My old... List, was made for my character (Rorry) to brag to all of Sirius. I may have lacked some Role Play skills but I tried to make it seem as though the Rorry character was bagging to the lawfuls, and trying to gain approval from other Pirates. An inRP communication to everyone in Sirius. (Yeah I was annoying with those --=retransmit=-- bumps huh, just read over the old thread.) I eventually closed the thread completely, even in stories and bios. Not because it's what Rorry would have done. But because, for the most part, it drew negative comments from people upon ME, and not my character. There is a difference between one's character and one's real self (hopefully). Some people have a hard time recognizing the difference. People can argue that not 'seeing the difference' is the creators fault or that it is the readers fault. People misunderstanding RP for a players real thoughts will go on for the unforeseeable future. Whether for the good or for the bad... So for now, I personally will not make any more 'lists' no matter the amount of RP, unless it is specifically requested by another faction to gather 'proof' of certain kills. Due to peopling thinking it is a 'brag' thread for myself, and not my character. Cheers mates. Love you all;) Communication Channel as blue message showoff? - Politus - 06-13-2011 Y'know, in this thread it's hard to tell who's trolling and who's serious. It's enough to give a poor bloke like m'self a migraine, thinking about it. Edit: Sorry, thought this was Comms part of the forum Communication Channel as blue message showoff? - Daedric - 06-14-2011 Please provide a link to such a thread so that I can better understand exactly what you are referring too. Its rather hard to discuss a topic without a proper example to understand what it is you find to be wrong. Remember, you are entitled to your opinion, so posting a link isn't a form of harassment or anything. Nor is it a trial by forum as there is no rule stating you can't post blue messages in a role play thread. Communication Channel as blue message showoff? - Enoch - 06-14-2011 Bragging about victories without spending half an hour to explain how it happened is roleplay. |
