Updated the guide with NAV MAP screenshots as requested. Please feel free to tell me if I missed something (or perhaps added too many:P)

Thank you all for the feedback. Apparently this thing works for others too!!:D

My game crashes now when I out tab cause jflp.dll any ideas why? May be because of the Launcher?

Never had Alt-Tab issues. Is your game at your desktop resolution? If not, maybe your OS/Video Driver/FL freaks out of all the resolution changes. That could be it... Or... jflp used to make me crash when, in dacom.ini, it was loaded AFTER dsace. So you could try changing the order in which DLLs are loaded. Maybe someone else could pin point. Though your issue seems to widen the possible causes. Like it could be a problem with Windows XP, not just the game.

I'm personally on Windows 7 and it seems to handle resolution changes under load much better than XP. If you're under Windows 7, make sure to check that option in the game shortcut to disable visual themes when booting said shortcut. That usually helps display problems.

It works

Amazing. Thanks a lot.

Also, for the people who don't want the hudshift... Just leave hudshift.dll out of dacom.ini and you still get the fixed map and stuff.

Also², if you use all this in combination with -dx in the shortcut, even the fonts are managable. It seems most of the awesomeness is caused by that jflp.dll

Is FLMM 1.5 approved by the admin team? I know we're not supposed to use 1.4, it sets off the auto-kick..

EDIT: Is this the problem you spoke of with the navmap?

If it is not approved then I will change the link to FOMM. In this guide, it is only used to install Discovery and has nothing to do with the actual subject (HUD stuff). It will be my pleasure to change it.

EDIT: Edited the FLMM link to 1.3 as it really has no importance, concerning this trick, which version people use. It is only for Discovery.

Oh cheers. I'll go try this now then, I've been eyeballing/guessing my navmap routes since January '10 when I got my big monitor:P

I'll edit with results.
