Killed while in docking prceedings - Evil Execution - 02-25-2008 Can I also just point out that those screenshots do not show me on them or who killed him, i even checked the chat room when FURIOUS killed him and it didn't even say anyone had killed him??? How do i know who killed him? because i stopped shooting before he was killed. I can also confirm that those screenshots are of him docking the first time, he was only killed when he was undocked and flying around. Beleive who you want to beleive but i certainly have not done a thing wrong here. Anyway have fun people looks like you won't be seeing me on this server anymore, which is a big shame as i love playing on this server. Killed while in docking prceedings - Spear - 02-25-2008 Your sanction report here. It appears you were sanctioned for a seperate incident. The age of a piece of software has no bearing on whether or not it will be glitchy. Any glitches in Freelancer were there when the game was brand spanking new as well. Freelancer has lots of these little problems, becaus it is old enough to be from an era where all we cared about was whether the storyline was good, and how playable it was. Freelancer is old software, considerably ancient now, in fact. Newer games have a lot less problems. Killed while in docking prceedings - Qunitinius~Verginix - 02-29-2008 This could have something to do with the Civvy bomber. Te pictures show him flying one and then It was the guy on the other page who said he was in the bomber when this happened with him and 13cent as well. Coincidence? Maybe... Verg Killed while in docking prceedings - Varyag - 02-29-2008 This happened to me today at Rochester in New York as Basilisk, I took it as good fun but the movie sequence was stuck with me just bouncing around in the hanger. It gave enough time for the guys (and girl) to come kill me. But yeah, the dock rule is for undocking. It was my fault for trying to dock on the run. Thats why I died, I take it as that and move on. Killed while in docking prceedings - .Cowboy - 02-29-2008 Yeah, those bases are hell man, needed to aim a bit higher when you tried to dock, even though we had guns on you before the red lights even started. I did manage to pry a minimal bounty out of the LSF for that, so hey, it was a good start to the evening. I tell ya though, they almost make bounty hunting an actual money sink with their stingy bounties... Zoners pay so well, and so does Universal. Killed while in docking prceedings - xylocaine09 - 03-03-2008 Quote:That's tough to believe, as I've NEVER seen an instance where someone wasn't completely safe once they entered the dock sequence. Actually I was killed during the docking sequence yesterday. (eg. the sequence where the screen is cut at the top and bottom and the system takes over the flying of the ship). So if it isn't supposed to be able to be done there is a bug and since people know about it they are using it knowing that there is nothing that can or will be done about them doing it. Killed while in docking prceedings - Warbird - 03-03-2008 How bizzare... ...well, what's the moral of this story? Learn to quickdock. :-P Killed while in docking prceedings - 13CentKiller - 03-03-2008 ' Wrote:hopefully 13cent will see this, and be able to confirm it to you. But I can guarantee it happened. It has only happened once to me. It was the Hogoshu base in NT. Confirmed. in fact. I didn't know Zev had actually docked. he was inside the base indeed. I thought he was trying to be smart, and enter the base without docking. His sheild was still up, and looked like he was in full control. I sent my forward cannon his way, and it took him out. Strange. I had never seen it before until then. Maybe Zev, we could devise a test with the Civilian bomber? Cheers  EDIT: When I killed Zev, it was also in New Tokyo. Hmmm...same ship same system? Looks like we already narrowed it down eh? |
