Chat Macros - jxie93 - 09-02-2011 I type every single one of my message by hand, each time. Because I'm old school, like a boss. Chat Macros - Skullz - 09-02-2011 I don't use set msgs much, but those that I do use are; For Pirate; 1 #T Please hold thankin ya (Think it is that or similiar) Steve Vontaan's ships; 1 Greetings From Freeport 10 2 #T welcome to Freeport 10 Nikasha Jinko 0 #T Please hold for the Liberty Security Force Everything else is really just typed as normal, though I do think I have a couple others lingering on those characters but nothing I can't remember right now. And I don't even use them much either. Only if I need to do it quickly do I use them, otherwise am ok typing. Not even sure if my favourite little outcast character even has a set msg (Monica Rosas) Chat Macros - Silmathien - 09-02-2011 Just a small question; there isnt a censoring ingame right? Like in the forums i mean. Chat Macros - Zeb Harley - 09-02-2011 For my Liberty-transports: /setmsg 1 Ahoy there, #t /setmsg 2 Safe travels, pilots! /setmsg 3 What do we have here? /setmsg 4 Is this a holdup? /setmsg 5 Complying /setmsg 6 Current position is #c /setmsg 7 Warning! Automated Targeting and Evasive Combat System has been activated. Current target: #t. /setmsg 8 Target destroyed. Thank you for dying to an AGEIRA Automated Targeting and Evasive Combat System /setmsg 9 We're under fire by #t at position #c. Mayday! /setmsg 0 Automated Rescue Routine activated. Ejecting escape-pods at position #c Now, while I have all message-slots filled up, you might get the opinion that all you get when you talk to me is a preset message. That is not the case. I even rarely use the ones I have set. Mostly I talk old-style, but there are a lot of situations where you have to fly your ship and say something at the same time. Preset messages come in very handy then, and even if I loose my ship I like to /l0 and go with style after a good encounter.
