in that case, sorry for not listening, but i don't see how it would affect players like that.
also, i've downloaded the new mod from that link, i get the same problem... the server has now put me back onto New Berlin, which is a good thing (i think) it save me from spawning out in sigma 13 anyway.. but when ever i try to launch, the server crashes, and lately, as soon as i select my character, it crashes. so i don't know whats up now.

The mod hasn't been updated since 4.74 final release. You need to download the DsyUpdate.zip or DsyUpdate.rar and unpack it to your c:\program files\microsoft games\freelancer directory with overwriting enabled. The official 4.75 patch, and probably updated mod files will be out after we're done ironing out the wrinkles.

I can't load any character except my docked freighter, and as soon as he took off, it crashed me and the server I think.

go to the files section of the forum server (www.discoverygc.com/files) and download the DsyUpdate.zip or .rar
then unzip that to your base c:\...\freelancer directory, overwriting whatever files match. then you'll be set to play

Yesterday I had to go before I could complete the beta changelog and other things. However the mod was ready, so I decided to throw it on server to test.
The 4.75 beta files were tagged 4.74 (I did not include exe files in the update at all) so that when 4.75 is out we'll have no confusion with mod versions. They are available now at

I am not including the changes and fixes that I'm doing right now into the mod. You may test all the new features as they were in the first beta. This will help me greatly to complete the final 4.75 during today, so please get the update and play.
Surprisingly for me, the server did not crash the whole 10 hours when I was absent. All the problems you had were related to having different client files. The server kicked you because you had no update.
