Sometimes I have fun, sometimes I get bored, sometimes I get annoyed.
The only times I get annoyed is when people start to complain at others for doing canon faction RP.

I used to have fun. I was always an RP type, I preferred to avoid fighting (in no small part due to my location) even though I am a somewhat apt pilot.
Then... it just got boring. So much circle jerking, feels like trying to muscle out the Mafia when you try to do anything half original...
So now I just lurk the forums.

Freelancer is the first game I am playing over 6 years right now. After I found this mod I wasn't able to stop playing it. Sure, some breaks but no more. I like to play on the server and like it if there is quite nice RP, especially without PvP. Also sometimes frustrated about RPing of others I don't mind that too much. All in all: Nice game, nice mod, nice RP (mostly - never) and nice fights, at least.

The game became a second job for me. I became far too involved with things to the point where playing meant managing other peoples playing.
I went through a series of fresh starts before I got sick of starting fresh. That is when I stopped playing.
I like laughing at all the commotion on the forums though!

I get home after school, keen to play some Freelancer. I jump on the server and find 50 people online. I log off after a few minutes of trying to find someone interesting to talk to.
I jump on skype to see if I can find anyone to get in game with me. Everyone is asleep.
If I stay up late on Friday/Saturday nights and get up early on Saturday/Sunday morning I have much more success. But I'd rather be socializing than sitting in front of a screen on a Friday/Saturday night.
Forum RP seems the way to go but then it's generally stale if you can't do anything in game.
Don't get me started on the cliques and favoritism.
So in summary, more ANZlaggers and insomniacs would improve my disco experience.
