guess im finally done with my "mod"
took your advice and went with battlestar galactica new series for gallia and the battle/danger music
and blade runner for sirius
like i say my main issue was with volume of new music compared with default
after much work figured out that using audacity to amp it and microsoft sound recorder +%50 volume
worked out the best as far as trying to get the music the same volume

I'm gonna send you the PM Erica sent me. She explains a lot. There's a system file that modifies the volume in game of every track.

Awesome, good job. Something like this has been needed for a while now - mods have been made for less important things, like the HUD and weapon sound effects.
