Other People take Stuff way too seriously or even personally. It's not just recently, it's always been like that. In the Past Admins didn't do much about it, now they give you a Time-Out if they feel like it is necessary. That's why it becomes public. Also, People write more Reports for Miss-behavior on Forums. angry players - dodike - 01-25-2012 ' Wrote:Because there are people who make them angry.Yeah, let's shift the blame. :) Zelot makes people angry. It's all his fault. angry players - Reverend Del - 01-25-2012 A report that is not actioned is because of one of a number of possibilities. 1) Not enough evidence. Screenshots are insufficient to establish context and proof of offense. 2) Your interpretation of the rules is incorrect. A number of "No RP attacks" reports fail to understand that the attacker isn't the only persons' RP that counts for a shooting match to start or that the RP doesn't have to be overly hostile for an attack to be justified. 3) It's the second or third or fourth report that you've submitted in one day. There's an Admin note about that, it's not allowed. After the first, all the others get ignored. PMing everyone about why their particular report hasn't been actioned would add considerably to the paperwork around these parts. Not something we're keen on doing frankly. As for "friends" getting more reports actioned than "non-friends" whilst the idea that we'd favour one person over another is pretty laughable, experienced members do tend to provide better screenshots. angry players - Savvy ? - 01-25-2012 Disco need....Whooooosaaaah angry players - rwx - 01-25-2012 And another post... Reporting, blabla -> Admins response = 0% similiar happened somewhere too But this would tend too much in complaining, so I'm out of here. angry players - Marburg - 01-25-2012 ' Wrote:The last few days I saw a lot of angry players hereThe last few days? On the contrary, there have been angry players every day since the day I 1st got here. Sure there's more now than there used to be, but that's simply because there are more people here now than there used to be...and some days are better than others. As to why the anger, the answer varies from person to person depending on either their ability or inability to deal with said anger. Personally, I boil it down to basically 1 thing: Although everyone can outwardly agree that "It's just a game" Inwardly, some treat it as more than 'just a game' & pin their self-worth on it. They don't admit it outwardly because they don't wanna be "that guy" that admits it & leave themself wide open to face the ridicule of the others that didn't fess up to the same. all the back & forth territorial bitchings are just byproducts of that imho angry players - Fat.Igor - 01-25-2012 Posting in Discovery RP 24/7 General Discussions. angry players - ... kur nubÄ—go? - 01-25-2012 ' Wrote:Community teaches us one thing (two in one) - *dont QQ* and *deal with it* I'm kinda disturbed how Q_Q thing became as a term to describe anyone who is expressing disagreement. Afaik, it was used about people who were unhappy on how their roleplay went or other emotional subjective side issues. But I really don't get it why some people intent to discredit others by posting "U Q_Q" then they actually bring up some kind of points which are worth concideration or atleast should be falsified before you can dispose the risen question And what you teach by this? That it's wrong then people express what they don't like and has a pretty much solid background to explain why? You know what this teaches - being submissive bitch. And it's not healthy. However... a lot of people around here can't really dispute on subjects without bringing their emotions to it. Edit: D: not worth the effort. |
