Yeah so far these are the only Cars that don't have a Duckface, but both, the Marussia and HRT Nose look like the Noses that have been used Years ago.

I do hope that Sauber, especially Kobayashi gets to make more Points this Year

[color=#FFFFFF]Yep the McLaren's nose does look a bit dated but it's still by far the prettiest. And thankfully nowhere near as ugly as the MP4-21s nose

Nah, what I said is, that the McLaren Nose is fine. Just the HRT and Marussia Noses look really old. Maybe I can find a Picture.

I alwasy wondered what the hole in the front of the nose was for!

At high Speeds the Wing creates less Down-Force, means it can go faster on Straights.

Formula 1 2012 - Prysin - 02-09-2012

interesing conscept, but how would such nose perform on wet surfaces were there is less grip in the turns?

Also, for safety reasons they had to change noses? i thought the old modular inward collapsing system was as good as it got... that system alone could save your life if you drove into a wall..... these new noses dont seem close to being that safe for the driver.

Formula 1 2012 - Fletcher - 02-09-2012

It may be slight, but wouldn't the less downforce affect the car's handling in mid to high speed corners? Sure top speed may up a little, but the cornering is where time needs to be made up right... Crap, then again that would shred the tired with the added downforce weight.

Hmm, tough thing to balance, speed, downforce, fuel and tire wear.

Formula 1 2012 - Prysin - 02-10-2012

tire wear can be reduced if you set the suspension right and allow enough roll/pitch during cornering to reduce direct tire load.
