Cockpit view is superior when docking with lanes. I fly in cockpit view unless in combat.

I use cockpit view in all ships, gives a better perspective without the distraction of your own ship in the view.

its a Must in capital ships Fight.....especially when your Target is a Osiris...and you are after it with a Lib BS. you can Freely use it on lanes for Battleships....also...if you use it in those asteroids ...you wont face any bumps at all....at least not that much.....i remember i ran from a BHG cruiser in Gamma fields.....in a Legate.(was coming back from cruiser hunting and got no bats/bots:))
