Heh, I wish that was true. The only thing we Benitez can do is ask nicely and most of the time we get a nice "no" back. Its about 50/50 in terms of taking guidance from factions or not...
anyway, all has been said, sairs can't be a united faction for we all work differently

Why fix something that isn't broken?
There is room for other groups to form and establish themselves as Corsairs, and there is no reason that I can think of that given time and consistent RP they might not be invited to sit on the CoE regardless of whether they are official or not.

Indeed. Faction like Corsairs can consists from many different ''organisations'' like Pirates, Smugglers, Warriors/Defenders, Diplomats (those who will RP wih others) and some more. But I doubt we need them.
Sails are pirates and warrions, TBH defenders/diplomats/pirates, and Benitez are smugglers/pirates/defenders/warriors and diplomats
I maybe wrong in some thing, cause Im not one of them, but Im correct in many ways also

I believe that there are currently two long serving (suffering?) independant Corsairs who sit on the Council. Their job is to represent the views of the indies and their opinions are as valued as that of the faction leaders, there being two of each in sitting.
