The Wild - sovereign - 05-08-2008 Its usually pretty clear when the Nomad is involved, what with the telepathy and everything. When my Wild wants to refer to him, he'll refer to "Master." If he wants to mention the Nomads, he will use "Lightbringer." He's actually got some parallels with what you sketched out- not quite willingly signed up for infestation, but got used to it and decided that they knew what was best better than he did- after all, when a Nomad infests a human both become far more powerful, and he's only doing what he thinks is right for mankind. The fact that it is more or less the opposite doesn't occur to him, but that has something to do with the fact that his Nomad is actually pretty weak as Nomads go, and barely able to control him (usually doesn't bother to, since he's a better pilot) after the Dyson sphere got hacked into. The Wild - Tenacity - 05-08-2008 not really sure it'd be right to post the character background until i get accepted into the wild, even though I want to =P The Wild - Guyton - 05-08-2008 My knowledge of "The Wild" is limited seeing as the most I know of them is little critters running around. I did notice one of their gates in the omega systems, though it was a bad idea for one of my comrades to get a closer look. There are wild NPCs near Yanagi and they attack everyone. How does the player faction feel about junkers? The Wild - Praetyre - 05-09-2008 Das Wilde attacks Junkers, but with a lower priority and we don't pursue unless in certain systems. The Wild - Tenacity - 05-09-2008 I would assume that target priorities for the wild (relating to other factions) are set by level of threat. While they will attack anyone and everyone that isnt a nomad or another wild, junkers arent significant threats to the wild, while other factions (such as corsairs, rheinland police/military, etc.) are a high threat in terms of firepower. They attack whoever can cause them the most harm, I suspect. |
