I voted I don't like it.
I'm sure it could be fin if I got a couple of friends together and we shot rocks, but, currently, I don't think I'm going to do any mining.
Of course, I do shoot the rocks outside Kagoshima while waiting:laugh:

it is fun... if you have someone joining you. you feel ripped off because there isn't enough that you get out of it if you think of how much time you spend doing it

Mining is one of the worst developed activities in FL. It is darn fun I say. Sadly not comparable to trading, thouhg some very good suggestion have been posted here and there.
I'm all for buffing up mining so it can go as an alternative to trading.

The answer will obviously depend on the person here. I don't find mining interesting personally but that doesn't mean mining is not a decent source for roleplaying and generating funds.
